Unified Messaging

The SNAPsolution for Unified Messaging uses industry standard SIP to provide a server platform for voice messaging, instant messaging, video calling, fax, and voice mail retrieval through email. Built on a scalable and reliable High Availability architecture, the Unified Messaging application is designed to grow along with your business while ensuring that your customers experience minimal downtime.

By using SIP clients enabled for multimedia sessions in conjunction with the Unified Messaging application, users are able to employ voice, video, and text messaging sessions simultaneously through one central applications server. This powerful application can also be combined with Outlook-integrated SIP clients such as the CounterPath eyeBeam to provide one-click dialing from Outlook contact lists. The Unified Messaging application also provides standard T.38 fax capabilities.

The SNAPviews User Portal for the Unified Messaging application includes the ability to manage all user voice messaging, including voice mail recording, retrieval, and forwarding. The ability to configure voice mail retrieval through email is also provided through this portal. When enabled, voice mail notification is sent to the user-provided email account as a link to a voice mail message.

In addition to standard SNAPviews User Portal provided as part of the Unified Messaging application, NetSapiens will integrate with third party portals or provide custom portals at the request of the customer.
