For netsapiens, 2018 is proving to be a year of increased growth and I can honestly say the evolution of our unified communications (UC) SNAPsolution platform continues to be based largely on the input and needs of our customers. In fact, supporting service providers was one of the main reasons why, last month, the netsapiens team went to Channel Partners Conference & Expo in Las Vegas. Here are a few key takeaways for MSPs that I think are directly applicable to netsapiens’ value as a B2B provider of UC solutions.
An Industry of Opportunity
Enterprises these days are looking for innovative solutions that are simple to use. They want to leverage new technologies like unified communications, software-defined networking (SD-WAN) and the internet of things (IoT) to lower costs and accelerate productivity. That’s where MSPs come in. They can provide the full-service experience that many companies seek. Of course, to succeed, MSPs need to do more than sell technologically-innovative products. While at Channel Partners, I heard a lot of discussion around a second important theme – the need for service providers to differentiate themselves across all aspects of the customer experience.
Differentiating How You Go to Market
Last year in December, you might have seen me sit down with JSA TV and a few of our partners to talk about the Cisco-BroadSoft merger, which was recently completed this February. We noted that when smaller telecommunications companies merge with global giants, their customers often fear becoming just another relatively unknown account. As a result, they often shop around for alternatives. This provides a big opportunity for many of our MSP partners to demonstrate they have the technological aptitude of the bigger players, while still being nimble enough to cater to an end-user’s needs.
